The first working meeting of Russian and Finnish experts of the GET READY project
The first working meeting of Russian and Finnish experts, representatives of the scientific, academic and professional communities was held in Shlisselburg on May 23 - May 24 2019. The team discussed GET READY project to improve the readiness of the cross-border region to the expected challenges in sustainable shore use and coastal management.
From the Russian side, representatives of the State Hydrological Institute, the Institute of Earth Science of St. Petersburg State University, “Eco-Express-Service” LLC took part in the meeting, from the Finnish side - the University of Turku, the University of Applied Sciences of South-East Finland, Environment Institute SYKE, Marine Research Association. The meeting was held at the research and production base of “Eco-Express-Service” LLC, the lead partner of the project.
The aim of the project is to build capacity in the field of sustainable shore use and coastal zone management within the framework of the priority “Support education, research, technological development and innovation”.
