International scientific and practical online conference "Sustainable development of the Caspian region countries"
The conference was organized by the Working group on interethnic, interfaith relations and prevention of extremism of the Expert Council for the development of civic education and socialization of students Of the Committee on science and education of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.Prominent Russian and foreign scientists, researchers, and public figures from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kalmykia, and Turkmenistan, whose research interests relate to global research and international relations, are invited to participate in the Conference.
It was planned to discuss the content of global processes related to the development of the countries of the Caspian region, as well as the prospects for a dialogue on the value of preserving their natural heritage, national culture, modern environmental and educational initiatives and historical identity.
In total, the participants presented more than 20 reports in the online format of the Zoom conference. Anyone could join the online broadcast on the Vernadsky Foundation Youtube channel.
Ms Alina Nazarova presented a report on the topic of Environmentally sustainable development of the Caspian region and replication of the experience of sustainable coastal management on the example of the Gulf of Finland.
